I've had various manufacturers, home made etc oilers fitted to my bikes but the Scotoiler ie THE best bit of kit to fit first to any chain driven bike. Correctly set up you get minimal to no oil on the rear wheel and good chain life....11,000 miles + on a VFR800 with a home made device. As for the rest well an Aprilia Mille that never neede its chain adjusting...yep amazed me too! To my current crop of bikes that laugh at the sight of salt and other road crap, don't forget that the oil fling takes dirt off with it so there is the benefit of chain cleaning while you ride! _________________ May the gods of hot metal go with you. |
