I've just completed my first day offroad on the XT and after dropping it quite a few times in the mud I'm starting to think I should invest in some spare foot levers.

Got some questions:

1/ What is the price of the Yamaha ones?
2/ Will something more generic like the Yam WF or YZ range fit the XT?
3/ Does anyone know of any other aftermarket levers available in the UK?

I'm looking for the ones with the foldable tips that resist breaking. I'm also looking for some proper spiked footpegs cause I spent most of my time slipping off the rubber pegs.

Anyone got any ideas?

http://www.offtheroad.de/

They do bendy ones Very Happy

Not sure how much Yam ones are, probably around the 20 mark.

I ordered a set of metal MX style pegs for the XT, I chose WR450 ones as apparently they would fit but they don't.

Best to stick with XT ones I think.

Thanks Thumper and Buhi

I'm off to the bike show this weekend so I might remove the levers from the bike and try to size match some levers up from the autojumble part of the show. I don't think I'll be lucky but you never know. I'm also on the look out for some (not so expensive) offroad footpegs. I know OTR have them for 65 and 85 Euros but I'm sure some other might fit.

I tried the bike offroad on sunday and funnily enough, the footpegs became useless when they were covered in clay! The rubber ones have got to go!!!
