Hi.
I also just bought a K&N filter. So what CO settings did you find as the best

Granada

The original setting was +2, and I increased it to +10. It seems to run better now (about 4000Km since installation of K&N filter and CO settings change), but is still isn't perfect. I have learned to live with it though.

Hope you have better luck in tuning yours. Exclamation

You have been busy!

A few questions: Do you think the Xenon bulb is worth it? What do you think of the new Michelin's and what sort of wear are you getting out of them?

I've rode a friend's 06 R6 with the Pirelli triple compound tyres are they're pretty good. They still have loads of tread left and haven't even squared off in 4000 miles!

To be honest I bought a Blue vision bulb first then the xenon and because of the wattage (55/60) there is'nt much diffrence between the two. I ride from work at night down dark windy cornish lanes and I could do with something brighter really, but there deffinately brighter than the standard and not to much money 10-15 ish. The new tyres are the best i've had on a bike yet. My first xtx in 04 had dragons, then my fz6 had diablo strada's which were good grip and mileage, but the michelin's are grippier and warm quicker but they've only been on for about 400 mile so can't comment on wear yet. Although I'm planning on regular posts in the tyres section with regards to wear.

Renthal handlebar pad
Yamaha skid plate
Givi top rack and 50l box
Kappa side racks and 40l panniers
skateboard wheels on the axle bolt
Put the original Siracs back on cause I got fed up trying to trail the bike!
